The ‘Clean Kalasapakkam’ movement was pleasantly and enthusiastically inaugurated by the district collector Kandasamy.
The Member of the Kalasapakkam Legislative Assembly Constituency, V. Panneerselvam participated and delivered a special address.
The president of the clean Kalasapakkam movement J. Sampath, while addressing the gathering, mentioned by spreading full awareness of the benefits of cleanliness among the public and involving them, excellent results will be achieved.
The public, on their accord, participated in large numbers and expressed their appreciation and support for the clean Kalasapakkam movement. A memento was given to each participant.
The entire public as well as the government officers and staff, wearing a blue colour dress and a blue cap expressed their support and solidarity.
Subsequently, there was a press conference held in the office of Kalasapakkam MLA Panneerselvam. The President of the ‘Clean Kalasapakkam’ movement J Sampath, participated in this meeting and explained about the scheme in good detail.
